It didn’t hit Jacob Morgan right away, but it now stands as one of his favorite experiences. After attending college in Duluth, Morgan had the opportunity to teach and coach skiing to middle school students.
Being able to build relationships and have a positive impact on people is what I love.
“Even after the season, they would call me for skiing advice or non-skiing advice,” Morgan says. “Being able to build relationships and have a positive impact on people is what I love. I see that same opportunity in the law.”
As an attorney handling a wide variety of cases, Morgan sees similar opportunities to assist his clients.
“You’re helping people—whether it’s accomplishing a goal in estate planning or in business, or helping them through a tough time with a family law situation,” he says. “It’s a different kind of experience in the professional world. But it’s the same kind of positive experience.”
Morgan graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He graduated cum laude from the College of St. Scholastica with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
