Mrs.. Weintraub's
practice assists employers of all sizes and includes advice concerning
compliance with local, state and federal personnel, discrimination
and leave laws, employee handbooks, and employee benefits. She
represents employers in matters with the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission, Minnesota Department of Human Rights, Wage and Hour
Division, and Occupational Health and Safety Administration. She
is a frequent lecturer on these subjects.
She also represents
individuals in family law matters including marital dissolution (divorce lawyer),
custody and parenting time issues as well as pre-marital planning.
Ms. Weintraub
also represents up-and-coming technology companies, advising them
on e-commerce and intellectual property issues, web site development,
software licensing agreements, as well as domain name disputes
and litigation concerning e-commerce.
Ms. Weintraub
represents health care entities before the Centers for Medicare
and Medicaid Services, the provider Reimbursement Review Board
and other state and federal agencies. She has defended health
care facilities and health care providers in medical malpractice
lawsuits, as well as appeals before administrative agencies.
Ms. Weintraub
received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and
her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis (1994) where
she served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Journal of Urban
and Contemporary Law.
