Mr. Clure
is recognized for his longstanding involvement in business
organization and transactional matters as well as maritime
law as it affects shipping and transportation. His practice
areas also include banking, finance, real estate-related matters,
as well as mediation and arbitration.
He has served
as president of the Eleventh District Bar Association and as
a member of
the executive committee of the Minnesota State
Bar Association. He is a proctor member in the Maritime Law
Association of the united States as well as a member of the Minnesota State Supreme
Court’s
Arbitration and Mediation Panel. He is a member of Minnesota’s
and Wisconsin’s state bar associations and the American
Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all Minnesota
and Wisconsin state courts, U.S. District Court in Minnesota
and the Eighth District U. S. Court of Appeals.
Mr. Clure
holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota
Duluth,
and he graduated cum laude from the University
of Minnesota Law School in 1963. He served in the Coast Guard
Reserve upon graduation from law school and entered the practice
of law in Duluth
in 1964.
