				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The law firm of Johnson, Killen &amp; Seiler has named new officers to lead the firm in 2013, its 125<sup>th</sup> year in business.</p>
<p><b>Joseph J. Roby Jr.</b> is chairman. He specializes in civil litigation, including employment law, discrimination law, business and general civil litigation and appeals in the state and federal court systems. His practice also includes management labor law.</p>
<p><b>Alok Vidyarthi</b> becomes president. He maintains a wide practice, with specialties in business law, corporate formations, acquisitions, real-estate law and probate.</p>
<p><b>Robert J. Zallar </b>is treasurer. He practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, estate planning and probate. He also has an extensive business and employment law practice with an emphasis on negotiation, mediation and arbitration of labor contracts and employee grievances.</p>
<p><b>Paul W. Wojciak </b>becomes secretary. His practice involves a broad array of litigation matters, including construction issues, business disputes, personal-injury matters and admiralty cases.</p>
<p>Johnson, Killen &amp; Seiler has been finding solutions for its clients since 1888. The 17-attorney firm provides a wide range of services for individuals, businesses and employers and has been in business longer than any other law firm in northern Minnesota.</p>
<p>In 2012, Johnson, Killen &amp; Seiler was named one of the top law firms in the nation by <a href="http://martindale.com">Martindale-Hubbell</a>, the legal industry’s most respected information service.</p>

<p>Among more than 250,000 firms nationwide rated by Martindale-Hubbell, only 2,446 were selected as 2013 U.S. Top Ranked Law Firms™. The honor requires that at least one-third of a firm’s attorneys receive AV® Preeminent™ ratings by their industry peers. An AV® Preeminent™ rating means an attorney’s peers ranked him or her at the top of his or her practice area.</p>
<p>Nine of the 17 Johnson Killen &amp; Seiler attorneys received AV® Preeminent™ ratings. The firm has more attorneys receiving this honor than any other firm in Duluth.</p>

<p><b>Steven C. Fecker</b> represents private, non-profit and public sector employers in the negotiation and administration of labor contracts, employment law and personnel law. He has negotiated hundreds of labor contracts on behalf of management.</p>
<p><b>Joseph V. Ferguson</b> practices in the areas of business law, commercial transactions, business and consumer bankruptcy, banking and maritime law. He also represents businesses in employment law matters.</p>
<p><b>John N. Nys </b>represents individuals, commercial businesses and financial institutions in the areas of banking, bankruptcy and general business law.</p>
<p><b>Nicholas Ostapenko</b> focuses on health-care law and a civil trial practice in the areas of medical malpractice claims, professional negligence claims, business and construction disputes, personal injury and cases involving insurance law.</p>
<p><b>Robert C. Pearson</b> practices in the area of business and financial transactions. He has experience in commercial transactions, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, financing, banking, trust and estate planning for business owners.</p>
<p><b>Joseph J. Roby Jr.</b> specializes in civil litigation, including employment law, discrimination law, business and general civil litigation and appeals in the state and federal court systems. His practice also includes management labor law.</p>
<p><b>Steven J. Seiler</b> focuses on business law, estate planning, pensions and profit-sharing matters. He also represents nonprofit and for-profit corporations, general partnerships and limited partnerships in the financing, sales and purchases of businesses.</p>
<p><b>James A. Wade </b>practices in the area of civil litigation.
